Like last year, we want to look back at everything we did in 2023 at Ypsos Safety. 2022 was our first year; we landed in the world of work-at-height safety full of enthusiasm, which has carried over into this year and shows in our progress.
This year we welcomed several of our products, from our safety net, stair, crossover, and safety guardrails, and our lifelines will soon see the light of day.
PIGNUS
Our single-twist welded safety net, designed for fall protection at height on different types of fragile roofs, has been manufactured on numerous occasions and subsequently installed.
We have manufactured more than 10,000 square meters of safety net to protect skylights, translucent panels, and domed skylights on different types of surfaces.
PIGNUS PANEL
We call the safety net designed for sandwich panel roofs Pignus Panel. It is a protection system against the risk of falling through skylights or translucent panels.
In addition to preventing a user from falling into the void if they step on a fragile roof, it also keeps tools and other objects from reaching the inside of the building.

PIGNUS SKYLIGHT FIX
This type of net is designed mainly to protect domed skylights from the inside, but it can also be installed on the outside.
Pignus Skylight Fix ensures that, if a user hits the dome of the skylight and it breaks, they will not fall into the building.

ANANKE
This name belongs to our edge protection guardrails, in accordance with standard UNE-EN 14122-3. Safety of machinery. Permanent means of access to machinery. Part 3: Stairs, stepladders and guardrails.
Our safety guardrails come in different types, counterweighted or fixed. This year saw the launch of Ananke Weight, which belongs to the first type.
Ananke Weight is a counterweighted safety guardrail installed at roof edges or in areas with a height of more than two meters. These safety systems provide collective protection for users inside the perimeter in the event of a fall.
At Ypsos Safety this year we manufactured several sets of this system, intended to protect the roofs of different locations of a large French retail chain.

REBRIK
Rebrik refers to our vertical ladders, in accordance with standard UNE-EN 14122.3. Safety of machinery. Permanent means of access to machinery. Part 3. Stairs, stepladders and guardrails.
Throughout 2023 we manufactured different types of stairs according to each client’s needs. We built both 45º and 60º stairs, some with platforms and non-slip steps, others without these features. What all of them did have was a guardrail, since they are more than one meter high.

ORYG
Our crossovers are designed to enable and ease passage for users when there are obstacles and fragile areas, and they can be found in different areas and on different surfaces. This system complies with standard UNE-EN 14122.2. Safety of machinery. Permanent means of access to machinery. Part 2: Working platforms and walkways.
This year we manufactured different crossing walkways intended for installation both on roofs, to clear air conditioning ducts, and inside industrial buildings, to provide access to various machinery and production lines.

Besides these main products, designed to protect and ensure the safety of users working at height, we have manufactured others that complement them.
- Davit arms (lifeline structures)
- Horizontal lifeline supports
- Fixing points for different structures
- Ladder fixings
- Platforms
- Folding steps
- Anchor points
- Posts
- Custom-made bases for guardrail anchoring
It is still the beginning, just the second year of Ypsos Safety helping make work at height safer, and we hope to keep doing so in 2024, both by manufacturing safety systems and by raising awareness of their importance through our social media.
