Material
At YPSOS SAFETY we offer fixed vertical ladders for industrial facilities, providing durable solutions suited to different types of access.
— Our models
We manufacture fixed vertical ladders for every project situation: from classic vertical access to stair ladders that make frequent traffic easier without the need for PPE.
— Where can we find ladders?
A widely used means of access in many environments, depending on the size of your project and the design of your space.
Between floors, access to the attic or outdoors.
Warehouses, offices, workplaces, industrial facilities, and commercial establishments.
Buildings such as museums, theaters, and airports; outdoor spaces, parks, and recreational areas.
Ships and vessels, to connect different decks or levels.
All of our production takes place in Spain. This allows us to control quality, offer tight lead times, and customize any project without extra costs.

Safety ladders are governed by the UNE-EN ISO 14122 standard, which is divided into four parts according to the type of access: Part 2 covers working platforms and walkways, and Part 4 covers fixed ladders. Portable ladders, in turn, are governed by the UNE-EN 131-1 standard.
The Rebrik fixed vertical ladder is a permanent means of access in a vertical arrangement, certified and tested under the UNE-EN 14122-4 standard, with a width of 448 mm and a safety cage of 724 mm in diameter. The 45º technical stair ladder is an inclined configuration with a handrail, designed for more frequent traffic, governed by UNE-EN ISO 14122-2. The exact standard reference and the scope of each model must be verified internally before final publication.
A safety cage is mandatory from 3 meters of climbing height. In addition, from 10 meters the ladder must include a landing offset, and no flight may exceed 6 meters in length. The installation surface must have a load-bearing structure, respect the safety and fastening distances specified by the manufacturer, have clear access to the nearest obstacle, and be level with the exit platform.
The regulations do not require the user to review, inspect, or perform maintenance on the ladder. It is the manufacturer who, in each case, must dictate the procedure to follow in order to keep the system’s warranty.
In buildings and homes (between floors, to the attic, or outdoors); in industrial and commercial settings (warehouses, offices, establishments, and industrial facilities); in public spaces such as museums, theaters, or airports, and outdoor spaces; and in transportation such as ships and vessels, to connect decks or levels.
A ladder is a structure designed to allow people to climb or descend between different vertical levels safely and efficiently. A ladder usually consists of a series of rungs or steps arranged in a uniform sequence that makes vertical movement easier.
Ladders can have different shapes and designs depending on where they will be installed, including straight ladders, spiral staircases, fixed vertical ladders, portable ladders, and many other varieties adapted to the specific needs of their use and the available space.
Likewise, they can be made of different materials, such as aluminum, stainless steel, or fiberglass, capable of supporting heavy loads and resisting corrosion or degradation in harsh environments.
Safety ladders are used in a variety of settings, such as warehouses, factories, industrial plants, construction sites, and more, where safe access to elevated areas is required or where tasks are performed at height.
The main function of a ladder is to make it possible for the worker to reach different areas or machines.
It is designed to minimize the risks associated with work at height and to provide a safe means for people to perform tasks in elevated locations.
In addition, fixed vertical ladders can be adapted to each project according to its size and the need for quick and efficient access between levels.
An example is the Rebrik ladders, manufactured to reach any place, area, or machine, according to each customer’s needs.
The regulations do not require the user to review, inspect, or perform maintenance on the ladder. It is the manufacturer who, in this case, must dictate the procedure to follow in order to keep the system’s warranty.
Ladders can be classified in many ways depending on material, function, purpose, or regulations. On this occasion, we organize them into three main groups.
According to the UNE-EN 131-1 standard, this is a ladder that can be carried by hand. This category includes:
Governed by the UNE-EN ISO 14122-4 standard, these are permanent vertical ladders. Depending on the height, they can have one or more flights, not exceeding 6 meters in length per flight; from 10 meters of climbing height they require a landing offset.
In addition, from 3 meters, the ladder must be equipped with a fall protection device, such as a safety cage or a fall arrest device with a rigid anchor line. The installation surface must provide a load-bearing structure, respect the manufacturer’s safety and fastening distances, have clear access to the nearest obstacle, and be level with the exit platform.
These means of access may also be called ladders with work platforms, walkways, etc. They are manufactured in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 14122-2 standard.
All ladders can be made of different materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, fiberglass, and others.
