A compatibilidade tamb\u00e9m afeta:<\/p><ul><li>A resist\u00eancia estrutural do conjunto em geral<\/li><li>A transmiss\u00e3o de cargas entre elementos diferentes<\/li><li>A deforma\u00e7\u00e3o do sistema perante as cargas a que s\u00e3o sujeitos<\/li><li>O comportamento perante uma queda real<\/li><li>A capacidade de absor\u00e7\u00e3o de energia<\/li><\/ul><p>Um sistema pode parecer compat\u00edvel do ponto de vista mec\u00e2nico, mas n\u00e3o o ser na perspetiva da seguran\u00e7a. Esta distin\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 cr\u00edtica para avaliar corretamente a viabilidade de combina\u00e7\u00f5es entre equipamentos.<\/p><p>Isto n\u00e3o quer dizer que num ambiente de trabalho n\u00e3o possamos encontrar diferentes sistemas de diferentes fabricantes. Perfeitamente podemos encontrar uma linha de vida de um fabricante e uma escada de acesso ou um guarda-corpos de outro fabricante.<\/p><p>O que se pretende dizer neste artigo \u00e9 que n\u00e3o se podem misturar elementos de diferentes fabricantes no mesmo sistema.
