We already told you, in the brand presentation<\/a>, that Ypsos Safety did not come alone; it was accompanied by four sub-brands that we were going to introduce little by little, each with its own features and function.<\/p>\n\n

Well, let’s start the introductions by welcoming PIGNUS<\/a> and explaining its origin and its function.<\/p>\n\n

PIGNUS means safety in Latin and is the name of our SAFETY NETS<\/a><\/strong>, which will be used as fall arrest systems for people, such as for protecting translucent panels.<\/p>\n\n

We understand<\/a> a net to be a structure formed by interlacing strands that make a diamond or quadrilateral. Depending on where it is installed, it will have a different use or purpose.<\/p>\n\n

Metal nets intended for fencing off land or animals will not have the same characteristics as those intended for fall protection of people.<\/p>\n\n

For example, the former do not have to be tested to a specific force, whereas the latter do.<\/p>\n\n

At YPSOS we are going to focus on fall arrest safety nets, calling them PIGNUS.<\/p>\n\n
