They must have certain qualities and strengths to comply with current standards. But above all, we aim to meet our main objective: preventing accidents.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the following post, we will explain the processes to follow when testing collective protection guardrails, in our case, <a href=\"https:\/\/ypsossafety.com\/ananke\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ANANKE<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Standards Applicable to <a href=\"https:\/\/ypsossafety.com\/barandilla-de-seguridad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Guardrail<\/a> Testing<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All product testing is done under <a href=\"https:\/\/ypsossafety.com\/barandillas-de-proteccion-de-borde-requisitos-y-especificaciones-de-la-en13374\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">specific standards.<\/a> ANANKE, in particular, is tested under the applicable criteria of the following standards:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/ypsossafety.com\/requisitos-para-el-ensayo-de-la-norma-une-en-14122-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UNE-EN ISO 14122-3:2016<\/a> Safety of machinery. Permanent means of access to machinery. Part 3: Stairs, stepladders and guard-rails.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>UNE-EN 13374:2013 + A1:2019 Temporary edge protection systems. Product specification. Test methods.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>ISO 15534-1:2000 <\/em><em>Ergonomic design for the safety of machinery \u2014 Part 1: Principles for determining the dimensions required for openings for whole-body access into machinery.<\/em><em><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>ISO 15534-2:2000 Ergonomic design for the safety of machinery \u2014 Part 2: Principles for determining the dimensions required for access openings.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>ISO 15534-3:2000 Ergonomic design for the safety of machinery \u2014 Part 3: Anthropometric data.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each of them contains various sections specifying all the technical data we must consider in our processes, from the choice of suitable materials to manufacturing processes.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Points Will Be Verified in Our Test and for What Purpose?<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We already mentioned in the post on <a href=\"https:\/\/ypsossafety.com\/barandillas-de-proteccion-de-borde-calculos-y-metodos-de-ensayo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">calculations and test methods for edge protection guardrails<\/a> that if in any case the loads cannot be verified by calculation, they must be verified by testing. In this case, there are many aspects that cannot be verified by calculation alone, which is why, for greater product safety, we carry out these tests in laboratories.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the laboratories, technical strength is verified by always subjecting the products to the most unfavorable situations, to check their behavior and wear.
